Day 01 and 02 Upon arrival in Sri Lanka transfer to Cultural Triangle village of Sigiriya and check you into your hotel.
Explore Sri Lanka's ancient kingdoms, the lion rock of Sigiriya and Dambulla Buddhist Cave Temples, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. En route, you also have the option of visiting Yapahuwa, an ancient temple built on a rock "one of the great architectural wonders of the island”, and Aukana, where the Buddha stands 42 feet high, the best-preserved statue in Sri Lanka.

Day 03, 04 and 05 Morning leave cultural triangle to Sri Lanka's hill capital - the small lakeside city of Kandy
Tour of the city and surrounding areas of Kandy including visit to an arts & crafts center, a gem museum, a lapidary and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens. There are an expansive 147 acres and have an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Attend to a cultural dance performance. Visit the 500-acre estate of the Victoria Golf & Country Club. Victoria’s 18-hole golf course is considered one of Asia’s most beautiful courses.
View Esala Perahera One of the biggest Buddhist celebrations of the year, the annual Esala Perahera is a religious ceremony during which devotees pray for good rain to cultivate the crops. The sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha, encased in a golden casket, is taken in procession (a Perahera) on the back of the temple elephant along the streets of Kandy for all to see. This ritual, which has been taking place for hundreds of years, is an experience of a lifetime. Scores of elephants all dressed in their finery, Kandyan chiefs in their traditional royal attire, thousands of dancers, drummers, flag bearers and Buddhist monks all walk in procession in honour of Lord Buddha. Day 06 Drive to Nuwara Eliya the tea-growing highlands, you will enjoy the land of lush tea plantations, majestic peaks and gushing waterfalls. Visit the city of Nuwara Eliya that is home to Asia's oldest golf course. The city is built around this golf course!

Day 07 Morning leave the scenic hill country and proceed to the city of Colombo. En route stop at Kithulgala for lunch and a little rest.
City tour of fascinating city of Colombo. Visit historic and interesting landmarks of Colombo including the exciting Pettah bazaar area, temples and mosques, town hall, residential area of Cinnamon Gardens, Independence Square, Old Parliament and the seafront at Galle Face Green.
