A snorkeling expedition is the perfect way to discover the wonders of the deep and is the preferred activity amongst visitors in Marble Beach. It is a favorite activity near Pigeon island so named for the blue rock pigeons that make this island their breeding ground. Whale watching is another popular activity with recorded sightings of three different species. Scuba diving and fishing are also famous between Marble Beach guests.
There is also a beach volleyball court in Marble Beach premises and the staff will be more than happy to organize a hiking tour for the adventurous guest. The nearby dead man’s cove, a tiny peaceful graveyard of long ago sea farers, also is an interesting excursion as well.
You can also choose to visit the hot springs of Kanniya or Koneswaram- the temple of thousand pillars which dates back to 300CE.
