St. Andrews Holiday Bungalow is located in Talawakelle, which is over 5000 ft. above sea level in the tea growing district of Central Sri Lanka. The distance from Colombo is 164km and driving time by car is approx. 4 hours. The most convenient route is through Avissawella – Karawanella – Hatton – Talawakelle.
The colonial style bungalow nestles amidst lush green tea plantations, has six bedrooms, dining room, sitting room with Satellite TV and a fire place. All toilets have hot and cold water and bathtubs. A fresh water-spout, which is fed by a mountain spring, is available for open-air bathing. The garden has terraced lawns and has a variety of flowers to cherish the environment. The picturesque St. Claire Water-fall and surrounding Tea Country could be viewed from the terraced lawn. Also the “Uda Rata Menike” Express from Colombo to Badulla winds its way below the bungalow.
