This is a newly built bungalow in a 10 acre coconut estate in a peaceful quiet village called ” Pamunugama” that can be reached in about 30 minutes from Colombo . This borders the ocean to the West, Negambo lagoon and the Muthurajawela ( known as the famous paddy fields in the good old days ) to the east. This estate is located towards the end of the Village and 75% surrounded by the Muthurajawela marsh lands, mangrove and west boundary, the south end of the Negambo Lagoon.
Although over 100 years old Plans of this estate shows Negambo lagoon as the West boundary presently it is replaced by mangrove and marsh which as grown in to the lagoon.
