AccommodationAccommodation Why House comprises of two luxury cabanas, two suites and one double room in the main house and three superior rooms in a private, separate house. Beds are dressed in fresh white linen brightened by cushions and draped with soft mosquito netting. All rooms open onto wide private verandas. Facilities include air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TVs, DVD players, mini bars, IDD phones, internet connections and safe boxes. En-suite bathrooms are well equipped with hot water showers, soft towels, plenty of delicately scented toiletries and a hair dryer.
Luxury Cabana
Both of the cabanas are located side-by-side and open directly onto the saltwater swimming pool. Although the rooms are quite small, their en-suite bathrooms are large and more than make up for this.
Dependence room
Located on the first floor of the garden house and above the two suites, the Dependence Room is comfortable, spacious and enjoys great views over the palm-shaded garden.
Superior Room
These two rooms are located on the ground floor of the garden house. One overlooks the saltwater pool while the other overlooks the gardens. Both are beautifully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms with hot water showers.
Suites
Each of the three suites located in the main house have large en-suite bathrooms and a private lounge. They open onto the main living area of the house which is furnished with sofas and fluffy cushions.

Cuisine
WHY House offers the best Italian food on the island! Using the freshest ingredients from local markets combined with specially imported varieties of olive oil, cheese and cured meats, WHY’s experienced chefs – trained in Italy - prepare succulent Italian favourites with ease alongside other international cuisine. Popular dishes include tender butterfish Carpaccio, seared fillet of tuna and calamari salad. The favourite dessert? Fritelle of Rive with custard or vulcan chocolate is especially indulgent. Enjoy it anytime, not necessarily at the end of your meal!
There are no set meal times so guests may enjoy meals whenever and wherever they wish throughout the property. Since WHY Beach Club also serves lunches and snacks throughout the day – open to the public - guests can also dine there. Italian coffees or Ceylon tea accompanied by home baked biscuits in the afternoon are particularly good while the eclectic selection of cocktails and bar snacks are a particular favourite of Why House at sunset
