The manager, Tilak Gamini and his staff are always at hand to ensure that you have a pleasant holiday.
Excursions Excursions The plantation and the newly renovated Cinnamon museum provide an interesting on-site excursion. Tilak Gamini will share fascinating insights into the cultivation and processing of cinnamon having managed the plantation for the last four years. Otherwise the beaches are the main appeal: Mirissa, Unawatuna and Weligame to name but a few. The owners also own a small stretch of beach offering safe swimming. The historic Galle Dutch Fort is located twenty minutes drive from the bungalow. This UNESCO-protected World Heritage site is a melting pot of cultural influences. Several hours can be spent wandering along narrow streets and around the sturdy ramparts overlooking the Indian Ocean. Several boutique hotels within the fort offer fine dining. Day excursions are possible to Sinharaja Rainforest, Uda Walalwe National Park and Yala National Park.
