The villa has one spacious master bedroom suite with an ensuite bathroom and a smaller twin room - both located upstairs. The master suite is furnished with a four poster canopied bed. The Beach Hut can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children. Both rooms have a/c.

Downstairs there is an open plan sitting area with large comfortable sofas and a dining area – which can be moved to the poolside in the evenings. There is a large pool and sundeck. At the end of the garden there is a lovely cushioned seating area overlooking the beach, perfect for sunset. The two staff – a houseboy and housegirl – will help buy your provisions and ensure the villa is spotless but they are not chefs so you need to cook yourself. Local chefs can be hired if good advance warning is given. There is also a nightwatchman.

There is a fine beach at the end of your garden but you may also like to explore the picture-postcard perfect Mirissa to the south, Unawatuna with its abundance of friendly beach bars and Hikkaduwa to the north for its foaming surf. Visit the historic 17th century Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with narrow streets lined with Dutch and British colonial era buildings which are still in use, sturdy ramparts looking out to sea, the lighthouse, and a growing collection of art galleries and several boutique hotels.
