Booking Terms and Conditions

Tour Arrangements:
• Basis of Accommodation is as intimated in the tour provided.
• Any extras recommended in the itinerary as optional to the client are payable separately as these costs have not been included.
• Transportation by Air-conditioned Vehicle (car or van), as required and accompanied by Chauffeur Guide when on tour or transfers.
• The Company reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service.
• Expenses and items not mentioned at time of booking are not covered including but not limited to: meals other than stated in the itineraries, laundry and pressing service, items of personal nature, porterage and transportation from hometown to airports and the gratuity to chauffeurs and local guides.


Booking and Confirmation:
• Bookings can be made based on tour itinerary and cost suggested by Flamingo International.
• Confirmation of bookings must be accommodated with a 50% advance payment of the proposed total tour cost.
• In the event bookings are made less than Thirty (30) Days ahead of arrival at destination, full payment is expected along with booking confirmation.


Payment:
• Booking advances and all subsequent payments must be made to reach the company net of all bank and intermediary money transfer charges.
• Payment could be made online through our secure payment gateway for which a link will be forwarded along with the proforma invoice.
• Credit cards accepted for online payment are Visa, Master and American Express.
• All payments must be completed at least four weeks prior to arrival, where these funds must reach the company within this period.
• Payment must be made according to the instructions provided on the pro forma invoice and must reach our account in full net of all origin and intermediary bank charges arising outside Sri Lanka.
• The client will be issued with an official receipt of payment against relevant invoice, which will serve as confirmation of the tour.
• Price includes applicable Government taxes.
• The trip fare does not carry allowances to cover possible cost increases due to currency fluctuations or fuel costs or changes in government taxes and it may be necessary to initiate a rate surcharge at any time if there are exceptional cost increases beyond our control.


Cancellations:
• Cancellation Policy will apply as indicated for the selected hotels.
• All liabilities and charges arising from such cancellation would be vested in the client.


Cancellation Charges:
• 7 days or less - 100% cancellation charge.
• Between 7 days and 14 days - 50% cancellation charges or the equivalent of the first two days charges depending on the programme and period of stay.
• Above 15 days - No cancellation charges provided no commitment or advances are made to 3rd parties.


Other conditions:
Optional excursions and additional services could be provided for which we will charge additionally.
Visits to wild life parks will be at client's own risk.
Jeeps available are very basic with basic insurance cover (not comprehensive as in the case of vehicles used for tours).


Insurance:
• In the interest of all members of the travel party, insurance is strongly suggested and should include loss and damage to personal effects and medical insurance to include evacuation and repatriation. We also recommend trip cancellation insurance. There is always a chance that a client may be subjected to an unanticipated emergency that precludes participation in the tour.
• The company will not bear any responsibility in this regard.


Disclaimer:
• For the avoidance of any doubt, the Company will not be responsible for any financial loss or damage to belongings of clients or for any injury sustained by them whilst such persons are travelling to, from or in Sri Lanka.
• In addition to the terms and conditions set out herein, specific terms and conditions laid down in individual tours will apply as intimated.
• Quality of service at Hotels remains the responsibility of the respective properties.
• The Company reserves the right to take photographs during any tour or part thereof, and use the resulting imagery for publication, including promotional purposes in any of its publications or website. By booking a tour with us, participants agree to allow their image to be used for such purposes; participants who prefer that their image not be used must inform our office, in writing, upon booking.
