An Inland wetland of Man-made origin located in the Wet Zone of the Central province. The population of the Cattle Egrets has increased to a greater extent in the wetland areas of Lake Gregory. The Little Cormorant flocks are busy nesting among the Cypresuss papirus growing in the little islands of the lake and the Little Grebe flocks are also busy collecting water weeds for nesting.
