1952 (station established 1820s?). Active; focal plane 26 m (85 ft); three white flashes every 10 s. 15 m (49 ft) round stone tower with lantern and gallery, rising from a 1-story stone building. The seaward side of the tower is painted in a black and white checkered pattern, which is barely visible in a distant photo and in David Meare's historic photo. Located at Galbokka Point south of the harbor on the Colombo waterfront; Google has a satellite view. Site open, tower closed.
